Description

Due to a very favourable NE libration you can see at the limb directly above Humboldtianum sea the double central peak of Compton crater, located at 104°E longitude, well into the Moon farside. Other features as Fabry´s central peak and the bright ejecta from Giordano Bruno are seen as well following the limb rightwards (south).

The first imaging and recognition of Compton peak, up to my knowledege, was made by Mikhail and colleagues (Astronominsk) back in June 2009 in their Moon mosaic

http://www.astronominsk.org/Moon/Moon2009/Moon_20090531.htm I'm not aware if it has been imaged again afterwards.
